When is the Desert Pride Center open?
The Desert Pride Center is open six days per week, Monday-Thursday 12 Noon – 9 pm / Friday 12 Noon – 6 PM / Saturday 9 am – 5 pm / Closed Sundays except for special events. Come by and see us! Meet our helpful volunteers, join The Center and start getting involved today! Please call ahead to confirm any schedule changes at 760-327-2313.

What does the Desert Pride Center do?
We provide activities, services and programs to enhance and sustain the health and well being of the GLBT communities by creating community, empowering community members, providing essential resources, advocating for our civil and human rights, and embracing our cultural diversity.

Is the Desert Pride Center a non-profit organization?
Yes, the Desert Pride Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All donations made to the Desert Pride Center are tax deductible to the extent allowed by tax regulations.

How many volunteers does the Desert Pride Center have?
(Currently about 25) The Center couldn’t have attained its present level of achievement without the core of dedicated and talented volunteers from within the local GLBT community. The number of active volunteers is growing fast. If you are interested in becoming part of the volunteer team, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

How can I support the Desert Pride Center?
Purchase a yearly membership to The Center. Membership gives you the right to all privileges and services offered including our monthly newsletter, access to classes and reduced prices for some special events.

Business owners can become Business Members and receive advertising and promotional benefits. You can also donate time, equipment or furniture to the Center.
